What questions: From the Wh questions course

“What” questions are questions we frequently ask or respond to. They could be like any of these questions:

“What do you want?”

“What is this?”

“What is that?”

“What” questions are some of the commonest questions that a person has to understand, ask or answer.

Other “Wh” questions:

  • who
  • when
  • where
  • which
  • why
  • how

These are called the “Wh” questions.

New “What” question game

This blog post is about a new educational game or live worksheet activity which has been added to the ‘Wh’ questions course.

In this game, various “What” questions are displayed on the screen. Pictures and related words are displayed as answers.

The student has to read the questions and select the correct answer. If the wrong answer is selected , the correct answer is displayed.

Other ‘What’ question games

Here are some more educational games about the same concept. Click on the slideshow to enlarge and view the pictures. While all these are primarily asking “what” questions, the approach is different. Some are about picture comprehension while another is about reading comprehension. In most games the question displayed on top starts with ‘what’, but in one activity, there is a statement on top and the student has to answer the question related to the statement.

We have been regularly adding educational games and live worksheets about Wh” questions. Check out these related blog posts to learn more about them.
