Autism Learning Hub: Online Games & Activities for Children with Autism in India

EdQueries is India’s only browser-based gamified learning platform built specifically for children and young adults with autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, dyslexia, and cerebral palsy. This hub brings together everything a parent or special educator needs to support a child with autism — from beginner English activities to life skills and vocational training.

What Is the EdQueries Autism Learning Hub?

Every child with autism learns differently. Some are visual learners. Some need repetition. Some thrive with immediate feedback. Most do best when learning feels like play.

The EdQueries Autism Learning Hub is a curated collection of 7,000+ interactive games, activities, and courses designed to meet children with autism exactly where they are — and help them move forward, one small step at a time.

Everything here is:

  • Browser-based — no app to download, works on any device
  • Self-paced — learners move at their own speed, with unlimited attempts
  • Gamified — drag-and-drop, memory games, puzzles, quizzes, and more
  • India-aligned — CBSE, NIOS, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu boards
  • UDL-designed — Universal Design for Learning principles throughout

Why Gamified Learning Works for Children with Autism

Children with autism often respond exceptionally well to structured, predictable, visually-rich learning environments. Gamified learning provides exactly that:

  • Immediate feedback — the child knows instantly whether their answer is right, reducing anxiety
  • Repetition without boredom — game formats make practice feel fresh each time
  • Visual supports — pictures, colours, and animations support comprehension without relying solely on text
  • No social pressure — the child learns at their own pace without fear of judgment
  • Intrinsic motivation — completing a game feels rewarding in itself

At EdQueries, our games are built on these principles. Whether your child is just beginning to recognise letters or is preparing for a vocational training programme, there is a structured learning path here for them.

Which Board Does Your Child Follow?

EdQueries is the only platform in India that aligns gamified special needs content to multiple state and national boards:

  • CBSE — Central Board of Secondary Education (Classes 1–5 and beyond): EdQueries aligns with CBSE foundational and primary curriculum frameworks (up to Class 5), offering structured learning across Maths, EVS, Life Skills, and Cognitive development. While EVS coverage currently focuses on early primary levels, additional grade-level content is actively being expanded. English language skills are embedded across activities, emphasizing comprehension, communication, and real-world usage rather than being treated as a standalone subject.
  • NIOS — National Institute of Open Schooling (flexible curriculum for special needs learners): NIOS OBE A level content has been provided. NIOS B level Maths is also available.
  • Karnataka State Board — Maths, English, EVS for Classes 1–3
  • Tamil Nadu State Board — UKG through Class 3, English, Maths, EVS and Social Science

This means a child in Bengaluru following the Karnataka board and a child in Chennai following the Tamil Nadu board can both find curriculum-matched games — tailored to their learning needs.

How Parents Use EdQueries at Home

You do not need to be a trained special educator to use EdQueries. Here is how parents typically get started:

  1. Start with the Learning Snapshot — our free assessment helps identify where your child is right now across key skill areas. No credit card needed.
  2. Choose a subject to begin — most families start with English (sight words or vocabulary) or Maths (counting and numbers).
  3. Set a daily routine — 20–30 minutes of game time each day, at the same time, builds habit and reduces resistance.
  4. Track progress — the platform automatically tracks which activities your child has completed and how they performed.
  5. Add Life Skills gradually — once academic routines are established, introduce one Life Skills activity per week.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is EdQueries suitable for children who are non-verbal?

Yes. Many of our activities are designed for non-verbal or minimally verbal learners, using picture-based formats, drag-and-drop interactions, and visual matching games that do not require reading or speaking. Our voice recognition games are optional — learners who are not yet verbal simply use the picture-based version of the same activity.

What age range is EdQueries designed for?

EdQueries serves learners from early childhood (3–5 years) through to young adults (18–25 years). Our vocational and life skills content is specifically designed for teenagers and young adults with autism who are preparing for greater independence.

Do I need to install an app?

No. EdQueries is entirely browser-based. It works on any laptop, desktop, tablet, or smartboard with an internet connection. We recommend using a laptop or larger screen for the best experience — mobile phones are not ideal for most activities.

Can I use EdQueries alongside therapy?

Absolutely. EdQueries is designed to complement speech therapy, occupational therapy, and ABA — not replace them. Many families use it as structured home practice between therapy sessions. Special educators often integrate it into IEP (Individualised Education Programme) goals.

Is there a free option?

Yes — the Learning Snapshot is completely free and gives your child access to 143 curated activities across key skill areas. There is no time limit and no credit card required. It is designed to help you understand where your child is right now and what they are ready to learn next.

What subscription plans are available?

Individual plans start at ₹999/month for full access. Subject-specific plans are available from ₹299/month. Annual plans offer the best value. View all plans on our shop page.
